How to Redeem ValueProtect

Please refer to your ValueProtect agreement for detailed instructions

If your vehicle was involved in an accident, please be sure to bring the following documents to your ValueProtect dealer when you are ready to trade your vehicle:

Documentation Confirming the Accident Information

  • A copy of the insurance claim OR police report;

 

Documentation Confirming the Repair Amount

  • A copy of the body shop estimate OR invoice (repair order bill).

 

Refer to your ValueProtect Agreement for complete terms and conditions.

Reimbursement Instructions
 

  1. Submit the Required Documentation listed below to the Administrator:

    • Proof of a Reported Accident from #2 in the Dealer Redemption Process:

      • Copy of the CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™ (or other similar VIN history service report); OR

      • Copy of the insurance claim; OR

      •  Copy of the police report.

    • Proof of Repair Amount from #3 in the Dealer Redemption Process:

      • Copy of the body shop estimate; OR

      • Copy of the invoice (repair order bill).

    • Copy of the ValueProtect Offer.

    • Copy of the buyer’s order for the new vehicle OR if the Customer did not purchase/lease another vehicle, a copy of the signed odometer statement and proof of title reassignment.

  2. Payment will be received within 7 business days.


All capitalized terms used herein shall have the meanings set forth in the related ValueProtect agreement (“Agreement”). Refer to the Agreement for complete terms and conditions.

Dealer Redemption Process
 

  1. Appraise the Optioned Vehicle and establish actual cash value.

  2. Establish that the Optioned Vehicle was involved in a Reported Accident:

    • The accident appears on the CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™ (or other similar VIN history service report); OR

    • The Customer provided a copy of the insurance claim. This can typically be obtained online or by calling the insurance carrier’s toll-free phone number; OR

    • The Customer provided a copy of the police report.

  3. Establish the repair amount:

    • Customer provided a copy of the body shop estimate; OR

    • Customer provided a copy of the invoice (repair order bill).

  4. Visit https://www.valueprotectnationsafedrivers.com/redeem.

  5. Click on “Submit for Reimbursement”.

  6. Follow the simple instructions and enter the required information to generate the ValueProtect Offer.

  7. Download and save the ValueProtect Offer Letter.

  8. If Customer accepts the ValueProtect Offer, advance the ValueProtect amount.

  9. Follow the Reimbursement Instructions to obtain reimbursement by the Administrator, NSD Administrators.
